Next to the family unit is the school/community. This duo is a larger unit of the society and also the secondary agent of socialisation. Individuals from various socio-cultural backgrounds come together to learn or live. Through social interaction, there is cultural exchange, habits and behaviours are learned. Therefore, the onus is on the school system the community to ensure discipline and uphold values such as hard work, dedication, moral values and societal norms. All of which is geared towards shaping the child to before a functional and productive member of the society.
Our goal is to raise awareness on major social problems pupils are faced with in schools as well as other social issues prevalent at the community level.
