Our desire at the Concern Home Social and Charitable Initiative is born out of a place of burden to promote the change we desire to see in our society. We are focused on promoting Social Work Profession, Social Justice, Social Welfare and Social Development in a world riddled with ever-increasing Social Problems – ranging from family disintegration, mental illness, suicide, drugs and substance abuse, child sexual abuse and other forms of exploitation, trafficking in persons – especially women, girls and children, poverty to all forms of social vices.

No doubt the falling standards of our social institutions is a major contributor to these problems, however, fixing the blame on failing social institutions is not tantamount to fixing the problems. At The Concern Home, we dare to break the status quo, and have taken a decision to not just be part of the solution, but also promote the change we desire through coordinated professional interventions for sustainable development.

At The Concern Home, our focus is to give patients living with cancer psychosocial support and promote cancer nutrition and lifestyle modification that will enhance their prognosis and successful treatment outcomes.
